UNWELL COLLECTIVE / MANIFESTO
Wear it.
Tell your story.
Dario chose to give fears and illnesses a face, and to bring it onto clothing. The starting point is a question: what if the things that frighten us could also become a sign through which we choose to express ourselves?
That is the idea behind wearing a phobia, an illness or a difficult experience in symbolic form. Not to deny it or reduce it to a joke, but to make room for your own response: defiance, humour, tenderness, solidarity.
That response changes with the person wearing it. FFAD uses provocation; FFAS a smile and thoughtful defiance; Kids play and support. The identity is shared; the gesture changes.
A possible personal, symbolic catharsis. Art to wear: not therapy, and no promise of healing.
